Note: Dr. Pressly Dies at Age of 62 at Home in Union Dr. Pressly Dies at Age of 62 at Home in Union Union, July 23 - (Special) - Dr. Paul A. Pressly, Died here early this morning at his home after several weeks illness. Funeral services are to be held at 6 o'clock tomorrow afternoon from Grace Methodist church, conducted by the Rev. P.L. Bauknight, assisted by the Rev. M. M. Brooks of Ninety-Six. Burial to follow in the church yard. Dr. Pressly, a native fo Missouri, practiced dentistry in Union for eight years, coming here from Greenville. He was the son of late Dr. Francis young Pressly, president emeritus of Erskine college. Dr. Pressly was a member of Grace Methodist church, the Men's Wesley Bible class and Knights Templar. He is survived by his wife, the former Miss Margaret Pittman of Union. |
