Union, SC - Mary Elizabeth Pittman Pitts, died Friday, Sep 18, 1987 in Kershaw County Memorial Hospital at the age of 101 years of age. Native of Darlington County, SC and the widow of Wesley Capers Pitts. Daughter of Rev. Alexander McArthur Pittman and Margaret Elizabeth Jeter; member of First Baptist Church of Camden, SC and a former school teacher. Funeral services were held Sunday, Sep. 20, 1987 with interment in the Jeter Family Cemetery. Survivors included: two daughters, a son, a sister, nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
