Note | UNION - Eunice Wilburn Jeter, 78, of 603 East Main St. died Oct. 14, 1999 in Wallace Thomson Hospital after a brief illness. A native of Union, she was the widow of John McDow Jeter Sr. and daughter of the late Guy Hollis Wilburn and Ida Palmer Wilburn. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Union. She attended Converse College and was the former owner of Wilburn's On Main. Surviving are a daughter, Susan Palmer Jeter of Topanga, Calif.; two sons, John McDow Jeter Jr. of Richmond, Va., and Guy Wilburn Jeter of Isle of Palms; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Services will be held at 11 a.m. today at First Presbyterian Church of Union, conducted by the Rev. Van Eddington. Burial will be in the Jeter Cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at 10 a.m. The family is at the home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Jeter Cemetery Fund, c/o Jeter Agency, P.O. Box 787, Union 29379. S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home of Union is in charge of the arrangements. |
