Earnest Jeter
Simpsonville - Ernest Lenwood Jeter, 75 of 109 Todd Circle, widower of Gladys Snow Jeter, died Monday.
he was a member of Mountain Creek Baptist Church and a retired painter.
Surviving are two sons. William Leon and Edwin C. Jeter of Greenville, Three stepsons, William L. Hart of Memphis, Tenn. Frank L. Hart of Simpsonville and Joseph M. Hart of Mobile. Ala. three daughters, Geraldine Arms of Savannah, Ga. Eloise Hawkins and Betty Lou Langley of Greenville, a brother, Dexter Jeter of Ware Shoals, a sister, Lillian Vaughan of Greenville, 26 grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Cannon Memorial Park.
The family is at the home of Frank Hart, 105 Todd Circle, Simpsonville, and will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Cannon Funeral Home.
